We provided Glimpse K12 with a team of specialized developers who supported the completion of the AIM platform project to help maximize school districts’ eROI efforts with efficacy and fidelity.
Glimpse K12 by LevelData is an education management platform helping school districts optimize budgets around what's working for students. Their AIM platform analyzes school spending in the context of student achievement, enabling administrators to make data-driven decisions about school spending.
When we began working with Glimpse K12 in September 2022, their product development cycle was low and their R&D costs were too high to offset a profitable outcome. They wanted to provide school districts with a platform that allowed them to accurately track and manage their education return on investment (eROI). However, this proved to be a challenging feat without a bigger team of dedicated developers.
To ensure Glimpse K12 could continue its efforts of innovating in the EdTech space in less time, we quickly vetted, hired and onboarded full-stack remote engineers in a time zone favorable to the rest of their product team. Other vendors with similar price ranges are located in Eastern Europe and Asia, making communication difficult and slowing down operations. Plus, our process doesn’t stop at hiring. We stayed in constant communication with the Glimpse K12 team and their new remote developers to ensure a smooth blend into the company’s operations—increasing retention and boosting team collaboration.
We provided Glimpse K12 with high-quality engineers with solid English-speaking communication skills at 60% of the cost, allowing synchronous communication that increased satisfaction from the company’s product team. The EdTech also experienced a 40% reduction in R&D costs and a 30% faster development cycle with their new Latin American team members. We ensure both remote engineers and companies learn about each other’s cultures to boost engagement and strengthen everyone’s sense of belonging to reduce culture shocks that often result in high turnover rates.
